Maintenance

 The system needs no special maintenance under normal use. If not used for more than a week, it is recommended to drain out the water continuously for 3 - 5 minutes before use
After using for a period of 15 months (earlier or later) resin to be changed depending on hardness of water for better performance 

 Avoid from direct sunlight



Regeneration

Regeneration Process Can Be Done By any INDIVIDUAL

Just follow the above steps

If hardness of water increases, it is time for regeneration

Usually regeneration is to be done after 45 - 60 days [earlier or later] of water usage
[based on the input hardness of water)

To Regenerate


Disconnect the pipes (inlet and outlet) of softener 
Remove from installed place to down on floor or your convenient place

 Open {TURN ON} the gate valve which is given at top of the softener or remove the connector of inlet

 use funnel or any other object [your convenient] to insert salt 200 - 300 grams and leave it for 15 - 20 minutes until salt gets dissolved

Thereafter for the next 10 minutes the salt will react with resin in the lower resin
housing for regeneration

After this once water should be drained out around 2.5 litres through outlet pipe

Fix the softener at same place and connect the inlet and outlet pipes as you removed

If it is water filters then,r the outlet pipe of water softener from water filter [which is connected to inlet of water filters]  and drain out the water

The water softener is regenerated
